LOSS CONTROL REPORTS
Control computer loss by using these reports to monitor the location and status of your computers and investigate change. LOCATING STOLEN ASSETS
ComputraceComplete is a tremendous theft deterrent. Whether announced internally, or word of recoveries 'trickles out', Absolute customers average a theft rate of less than one percent, as compared to the industry average of 3,5% - 5%. If a computer is stolen, report it to the Recovery Team via our web site, www.absolute.com, phone or fax. The Recovery Team begins locating your computer and provides local law enforcement with the data they need to recover it.

Absolute Software understands the value of computing assets - we are so confident we can recover stolen computers we provide a Recovery Guarantee.
If a computer cannot be recovered within 60 days of being reported stolen to the Absolute Recovery Team, we'll provide a Recovery Guarantee Payment of up to $1,000*.
DATA DELETE
To protect data in addition to hardware, Absolute provides customers with the option of wiping valuable data from a stolen machin, for a nominal service fee. This prevents a thief from accessing and potentially compromising that data. Customers contact Absolute to initiate the Data Delete service. The next time the Agent calls, the service is downloaded. It works silently t erase data, and can be configured to include or exclude the operating system.
Integrated Theft Recovery Service
Absolute's proven approach to the recovery process protects you from the hazards involved in retrieving stolen computers. The Absolute Recvery Team has worked hard to develop relationships with over 700 law enforcement organizations across the U.S. an Canada. The recovery team is staffed by former police officers and professionals who are experienced in tracking down stolen computers and helping other law enforcement agencies with the process of getting subpoenas and warrants issued to recover them.
Locate Computers Instantly
Control computer loss caused by devices changing hands or drifting from department to department, to contractors, to home offices, or to unauthorized third parties. Web-Based Management
ComputraceComplete can be efficiently managed from any web browser. Administrators configure and deploy ComputraceComplete to individual computers and/or computer groups and manage the product on a day-to-day basis. Centralized administration makes it easy to implement device security policies for company-wide compliance.
Computrace Agent
The computrace agent is a small software client that resides on the hard drive of host computers and enables ComputraceComplete as soon as it's installed. Easy to install, and unobtrusive to the end user, the agent is difficult to accidentally, or deliberately, delete and uses minimal bandwidth in its communications to Absolute's monitoring centre.
Monitoring Center
Absolute's monitoring center receives all agent calls and transfers computers location information and asset data to a secure, server-side database. This information can be accessed 24/7 by authorized administrators via self-serve reports. The ongoing, hands-free communication between the agent and monitoring center makes ComputraceComplete exceptionally easy to implement and manage.
Communications
Because it is client-initiated, TCP-based and encrypted, the communications between the agent and monitoring center is secure and reliable.
